Ensure compliance with and prepare documentation in alignment with CIQB (CANDU Inspection Qualification Bureau).
Complete 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks.
Prepare mechanical designs and designs for additive manufacturing.
Complete assigned technical work within your discipline under supervisor direction; escalate issues and provide regular progress updates.
Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate results and support conclusions/recommendations.
Advise customers on technical issues/programs by analyzing information, coordinating tests/inspections/studies, meeting with stakeholders/suppliers, and supporting implementation and post‑review.
Ensure work complies with applicable regulations and divisional/customer safety programs.
Support representations to authorities/regulators, including attending hearings, to advance OPG interests.
Manage assigned projects (defined scope) and direct day-to-day work of technical staff; resolve issues and escalate as needed.
Maintain technical currency through publications and internal/external expert networks.
