About The Role
Seven Retail Group is looking for a highly strategic and commercially driven VP Growth & Strategy to accelerate business growth, unlock new expansion opportunities, and drive high-impact strategic initiatives across our Business Units. In this leadership role, you will play a key role in shaping business direction, identifying growth levers, and translating strategy into execution.
You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, operational scalability, market expansion, and business transformation initiatives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic growth initiatives to support business expansion and long-term company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and growth levers through market research, business analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
- Lead and monitor strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives to improve business performance and scalability.
- Drive data-driven decision making through business insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Analyze operational inefficiencies and collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and scalable solutions.
- Develop business cases, financial models, and strategic frameworks to support key business decisions and investments.
- Monitor and manage key business metrics, KPIs, and growth performance across Business Units.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic priorities.
- Lead business planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support sustainable and profitable growth.
- Build and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Represent the company in strategic discussions with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering, Accounting, or related fields from reputable universities (MBA is a plus).
- 7–12 years of experience in Growth Strategy, Business Strategy, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Investment, Venture Building, or high-growth startup environments.
- Experience in top-tier management consulting firms and/or high-growth startup ecosystems is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in driving business growth, expansion initiatives, and strategic transformation projects.
- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding, including experience with business modeling, budgeting, and P&L analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, Index Match, VBA is a plus), PowerPoint, and business presentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Highly organized, execution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
