Job Summary The Teacher Residency Site Coordinator works with a cohort of teacher residents (pre-service teachers) and their mentor teachers. This role supports teacher preparation coursework and the ongoing evaluation of residents’ instructional competency while providing instructional coaching. The position also builds and maintains relationships with residency mentors and supports the development of their coaching and mentoring capacity. This position is a part-time (10-month, August–May), grant-funded position. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Engages in on-site observation, instructional coaching, and mentorship at partner sites. Delivers professional development in teacher preparation and teacher mentorship. Serves as a liaison between teacher residents, mentor teachers, school administrators, and the University. Recruits, retains, and facilitates development of mentor teachers in collaboration with school and district administrators. Attends university meetings and programs, including professional development, as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned.
