Job Summary The University of Southern Mississippi School of Speech and Hearing Sciences, a CAA-accredited program, invites applicants for a nine-month, Assistant Professor, tenure-track faculty position beginning August 2026, with an earlier start date negotiable. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Teach academic coursework in the Doctor of Audiology curriculum. Develop a line of research/scholarly activity. Serve on University/College/School committees. Serve as mentor to students and/or faculty members. Teach courses in the undergraduate Speech and Hearing Sciences program as needed. The incumbent candidate will develop a viable line of research activities that result in national presentations and refereed publications, provide academic instruction at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and the opportunity to provide clinical supervision for doctoral-level audiology students, and provide services to the University community. Perform other duties as assigned.
