Salary: $113,991 - $172,301 (depending on experience)
Contract: 242 contract days, 24 vacation days

Description:
The Director of Operations will collaborate with the transportation department, school resource officers, safety specialists, guardians, and district-wide safety teams to support a secure, inclusive, and effective learning environment for all students. This role will partner with K�12 school leaders in coordinating responsibilities related to safe walking routes, risk management, emergency response planning, driver education, nutritional services, and cross-departmental initiatives that promote student safety, well-being, positive school climates, and uninterrupted learning opportunities across the district and within established school boundaries.

Credentials
School administration or law enforcement administration required.
Education and experience
1. Master's degree required
2. Previous administrator experience is required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Operations Director will:
- Serve as the point of contact with all police departments and the Chief of Police
- Supervise the Transportation Directors
- Supervise Print Shop
- Supervise Nutrition Services
- Monitor and provide regular training for School Safety Specialists
- Coordinate and create presentations for K-12 administrator training and professional development as needed (i.e., threat assessments, investigations, mandatory training)
- Manage monthly School Resource Officer's meeting
- Formulate and distribute safety protocols to schools as needed
- Assist and collaborate in the design of safety measures for school buildings
- Oversee the operation of keyless entry ID badges for all ASD personnel
- Manage district grant opportunities associated with safety
- Assist with the communications team in a coordinated response to support schools in emergency, crisis and threat situations
- Support and partner with K-12 school administrators in safety responses on-site
- Assist with the audio/visual support for live streaming during board meetings (and other meetings, as needed).
- Monitor weather conditions and present findings to the Executive Director of Operations

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Incumbent must be fingerprinted and clear a criminal background check
- Master's Degree/Administrative license required
- School administration experience required
- Requires the ability to communicate orally and in written form
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently, be flexible, and be a collaborative team player
- Must demonstrate the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and respect for others
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS---Not limited to the following:
