A position is available for a Water Safety Instructor with Community Education for approximately 6 hours per day Monday through Thursday (varied shifts available) beginning June 1, and ending August 13, 2026. 

Summary of Duties: 

• Prepare lesson plans to teach various levels of American Red Cross swimming lessons (Parent & Child, Preschool, and Learn-to-Swim Levels 1 - 6)
• Teach group (Parent & Child, Preschool, and Learn-to-Swim Levels 1 - 6) and private (individual and small group) swimming lessons following the American Red Cross curriculum.
• Ensure students are safe in, on, and around the water.
   

Qualifications Required: 
Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification

Rate of Pay: 
$13.00/hr (group lessons) $15.00/lesson (private lessons).
