Minimum Requirements: 
? Current GCSD Teacher.
? Current Olympia Teacher preferred.
? Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
? NYS Teaching Certification in Secondary Education.
? Demonstrated experience with student leadership, mentoring, or advisory programming.
? Experience planning and facilitating family engagement or community events.
? Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple logistics simultaneously.
? Background in or strong commitment to college access, equity, and supporting underrepresented student populations.

Desired Qualifications: 
Salary: GTA Professional Rate | 2026-27 School Year: 8 hrs per week; Summer 2026: 35 hours total (approximately 5 days TBD)

Position Summary/Responsibilities: 
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
The Greece Central School District is seeking to fill a Stipend position for a Student Leadership & Mentoring Coordinator
to support the Smart Transfer Early College High School (ST-ECHS) program at Olympia School. This position will
coordinate after-school and summer student leadership development, peer mentoring, family engagement, and college
trip logistics for ECHS students. The Coordinator will play a central role in cultivating a college-going culture and ensuring
students have the support, guidance, and community connections needed to succeed in dual-enrollment coursework and
beyond.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities in this position might include:
? Plan, organize, and facilitate after-school and summer student leadership programming for ECHS participants.
? Develop and oversee a peer mentoring structure that connects upperclassmen with incoming ECHS students.
? Collaborate with the ECHS Coach and building administration to align mentoring and leadership programming
with program goals.
? Organize college tour logistics for up to four (4) college visits per year, including transportation, student
preparation, and follow-up activities.
? Support the coordination of summer programming, including preparation for summer dual-enrollment courses and
career academies.
? Serve as a liaison between students, families, and program staff to ensure timely communication and student
support.
? Assist with the recruitment and selection of new ECHS student cohorts and new student interns.
? Maintain records and collect data related to student participation in leadership and mentoring activities for
program reporting.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
