Minimum Requirements: 
? Current GCSD Teacher.
? Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
? NYS Teaching Certification in Secondary Education.
? Experience with student-centered, experiential, or project-based learning approaches.
? Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students, families, and community/industry partners.
? Interest in career and technical education, college readiness, or work-based learning programming.


Desired Qualifications:

Position Summary/Responsibilities: 
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
The Greece Central School District is seeking to fill four (4) teaching positions to plan, organize, and facilitate the College and Career
Academy as part of the Smart Transfer Early College High School (ST-ECHS) program at Olympia School. The Career Academy is a
two-day summer program designed for current 10th�12th grade students to explore various career paths in a hands-on, real-world
context. The program hosts career experts, involves on-the-job tasks and field trips to businesses and colleges. Each Career Academy
Teacher will have a total of 28 hours available to plan and facilitate events.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities in this position might include:
? Collaborate with the ECHS Coach and other Career Academy Teachers to plan and design engaging, career-connected
learning experiences.
? Facilitate hands-on career exploration activities, simulations, and real-world tasks across the 2-day Career Academy
(approximately 6 hours per day).
? Recruit and coordinate career experts, industry professionals, and seminar/workshop presenters.
? Organize and accompany students on field trips to businesses and post-secondary institutions.
? Support student completion of program requirements necessary to earn the "earn while you learn" stipend.
? Assist in recruiting and selecting 10th�12th grade student participants for the Career Academy. If spots remain after
recruitment, 9th graders will also be invited.
? Track student participation and completion data for program reporting purposes.
? Participate in planning and coordination meetings prior to the summer program.
