University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Oak Park, MI. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a supportive home care environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care and treatments to patients in their homes.
- Monitor patients’ health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist with administering medications and injections as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and University Home Care Inc policies.
Requirements
- Current and valid LPN license.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related nursing field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Reliable transportation to reach patient homes within Oak Park, MI.
