Job Description
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers in White Lake, MI. This role involves providing essential support and care to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and help with mobility and transportation.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or environment to supervisory staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client interactions.
- Ensure the client's home environment is clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in direct care or related field is an asset, but NOT required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients IS A MUST.
