Job Description
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Milford, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor client condition and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Document care provided and client progress accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care-giving or support role preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is a plus.
