Job Description
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Pontiac, MI. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a supportive and respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance and ensure clients’ safety.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to the supervisory staff.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is an asset.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
