Caregiver

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Holly, MI. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Ensure client safety and comfort at all times.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and responsible with good attention to detail.
• Ability to pass background checks and relevant certifications as applicable.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
