System Coordinator of the Fine Arts Center/Hall of Fame Room-Part Time (49%)

The Butts County School System is accepting applications for a System Coorinator of the Performing Arts Center and Hall of Fame Room for the 26-27 School Year. (This is a part-time 49% position)

Education: Valid Georgia Teaching Certification

Position Summary
To advance the educational mission of the Butts County Performing Arts Center and Hall of Fame Room; to manage the artistic, administrative and technical operations of the PAC; to oversee the planning and staging of events throughout the system which will require technical assistance with audio/visual systems for both the Performing Arts Center as well as the Hall of Fame Room.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and provide technical assistance to teachers and students in the planning, staging, and performance of fine arts events.
• Seek to bring the system and community educational programs which will strengthen the Fine Arts Program and create learning experiences for students.
• Coordinate with individuals and groups regarding the PAC and the HOF room for the purpose of maximizing usage, preventing conflicts, and meeting specific needs.
• Participate in promotion/marketing of events held in the PAC and HOF room.
• Maintain stage and media equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required tools and equipment within a safe work area.
• Be present at all PAC and HOF room rentals.
• Ensure the school system policies and procedures for managing the PAC and HOF room are followed.
• Research programs that will utilize the facility and provide recommendations to the principal(s) and Assistant Superintendent that will align with the vision and mission of BCSS.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
