Title 1 Instructor, Kindergarten Summer Blast Off Program (2 Total Vacancies, Pending Grant Approval)

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Kindergarten Blast Off positions, for the Title I Summer Program, are part-time positions teaching children entering into Kindergarten with Kindergarten readiness skills. 
Rate of pay for this year's Kindergarten Blast Off summer program: $40 for Instructors. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of district curriculum, techniques for integrating curriculum, district policies, and effective instructional practices.
Understanding of the teaching/learning process.
Ability to provide instruction that reflects multiple perspectives on education.
Ability to infuse technology and positive social emotional behavior techniques into curriculum.
Ability to work effectively with administrators, colleagues, central office and school based staff, students, parents and community.

DATES: 

August 3-7 Monday-Friday
8:30 AM - 1:30 PM with 30 minute unpaid meal period

Note: Training day (9:00-2:00) Thursday, July 30th

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in applicable field of education from an accredited college or university.

CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be certified by the NH Department of Education in at least one of the following: Elementary Education (1810, 1811) or Early Childhood Education (1866).

COMPENSATION:

$40.00 per hour
