Compensation: $17.75 / hour
Description
Summary:
This position does not offer housing. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Westport, Washington for all scheduled shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry baskets of product weighing up to 50 pounds to work station
- Use mallet and anvil in a repetitive motion to remove the crab meat from the shell.
- Inspect meat for shell and defects
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood
- Experience with the utilization of food processing equipment, sanitation, and food safety
- Experience with the safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks

- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The working environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to:
- Utilizes PC and other standard office equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
- If lengthy time working in the server room is required, personnel will be provided with noise cancelling headphones.
