Summary:
The Export Documentation Coordinator at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Transportation team supporting efforts to get correct documents to customers in order to clear their cargo shipments. This position involves exporting products by documenting transactions and following correct regulations and is ideal for someone who is highly organized, analytical, and conducts themselves with a high ethical standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtains data by reviewing export orders and inventories.
- Documents exports by preparing bills of lading, export declarations, certificates of origin, and related documents.
- Processing export contracts.
- Assistance with phone calls from customers with confirmation of bills.
- Preparing documents to letter of credit requirements.
- Raising invoices.
- Make sure all documents contain correct information.
- Prepare book-ins.
- Make sure inventory/accounting department has a copy of commercial invoice and back-up work.
- Follow documentation process for specific accounts.
- Arrange trucking.
- Get information for shipment to cold storages/plants.
- Inventory control.
- Maintain a clean and orderly material distribution area.
- Ensure all material transactions, receiving, issues, and distributing are completed within established limits.
What you bring to Pacific Seafood
- Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of two to four years related experience and/or training.
- Preferred:
- Previous experience with preparing detailed documents.
- Basic technology set up support skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel.
- Strong data entry skills.
