Job Description
Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or a related discipline at the University or College level or a minimum of 3 year work experience in QA/QC role.
ACI Certification and concrete experience would be an asset.
Level I Visual Weld inspection or II Visual Weld Inspection
Good communication and organizational skills
Computer literate in MS Office
B&PV Code ASME Section 1, B31.1, B31.3 & Section VIII Div. 1 experience would be an asset.
Experience with Nuclear, ASME Code Section III experience would be an asset.
Ability to pass a physical, lift 50 lbs., climb scaffolds and ladders, enter confined spaces, work at heights, wear full body harness, and wear a respirator and Personal Protective Equipment (as needed).
Must be Certified as SNT-TC-1A VT Level II, or the ability to obtain this certification of employment.
Civil and mechanical experience.
Must be able access the Savannah River Site unescorted.
Complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training.
Ability to work on an established schedule, report work on time, and be flexible to support projects.
Ability to obtain and maintain nuclear security
