Manage, monitor and optimize existing on-premises and cloud-based systems to ensure the server and network environment meets the expected service level and business continuity requirements
Support the documentation for both new and existing solutions and processes
Crosstrain others to strengthen the IT team and create opportunities to “shift left” responsibilities to L2 and L1 teammates
Administer servers, routers, switches, firewalls, software deployment, security updates and patches
Design, deploy and support LANs, WANs, network segments and VPN gateways
Assign network addresses, routing protocols and routing table configuration
Assist the cybersecurity team in the monitoring and maintenance of network and system security
Provide Tier 3 support for manufacturing production systems
Design and implement new capabilities in remote monitoring and endpoint management tools to ensure better overall performance and experience for end users
Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
Stay current on technology trends and new solutions in the marketplace to address current and future opportunities for improvement
Make recommendations for future process and technology upgrades
