We are looking for a compassionate Medical Assistant for our Baptist Metabolic Weight Loss Clinic located in Nocatee. This is a Full-Time opportunity working 2 days Downtown and 3 days at our Nocatee campus Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
The ideal candidate will perform duties, such as rooming patients, vitals, chart review and prep. Experience strongly preferred but new Medical Assistants are welcome to apply.
Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:
- Provides medical assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
