
Hospice RN Clinical Manager

Responsibilities
As a Hospice Clinical Manager, you will:
- Direct and coordinate hospice clinical services to ensure continuity, quality, and safety of patient care in compliance with state and federal regulations, including Conditions of Participation (CoPs)
- Promote the philosophy, mission, and policies of the organization to support outstanding patient outcomes
- Supervise and provide leadership to clinical staff, ensuring quality care delivery, timely assessments, reassessments, and continuity of care
- Participate in hiring, training, staff development, and clinical oversight activities
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) in developing and reviewing individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and lead QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) initiatives and implement corrective actions when needed
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer requirements through education and coaching
- Identify operational or clinical concerns and communicate recommendations to leadership through verbal and written reporting
- Support infection prevention practices and promote adherence to standard precautions
- Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with staff, patients, families, physicians, and community partners
- Participate in ongoing professional development and mandatory continuing education
Qualifications
Required:
- Current and active RN license
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Current CPR certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospice environment
Preferred:
- Minimum of 2 years of hospice management experience
- HomeCare HomeBase experience
- Experience leading interdisciplinary clinical teams
