Tooling Technician

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. 

Responsibilities:

• 80% of time will be spent assembling tools, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing tools for rentals/service.
• 20% of time will be spent on clerical functions which include entering data, communicating to rental department and shipping for equipment movements.
• Rental Tools require inspecting, disassembly, cleaning, repairing, assembly, testing, and shipping tools. MS products used.
• Other duties will be assigned as needed, including training, physical inventory, production, and engineering assistance.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing floor / warehouse
• We are an ISO certified company.
• Intermittent periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
• Environment with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery and loud noise.
• Minimal direct customer interaction
