Pay | : | HK$25,269 to HK$28,492 (HGPS point 8 - 10) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attend to the general cleanliness of the mortuary.
2. Receive bodies of the deceased delivered to the mortuary.
3. Responsible for handling the bodies and arrange for identifying claiming and removal of bodies by the relatives of the deceased.
4. Assist Pathologists in performing post-mortem examination.
5. Prepare for and clean up after autopsies.
6. Respond to on-call duties outside regular working hours when required.
7. Perform clerical duties and supportive laboratory duties in Department of Pathology subjecting to operational needs.
8. Perform any other duties as required by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1. Able to write Chinese and speak fluent Cantonese and have some knowledge of English.
2. Pleasant and mature personality, interested to work in hospital environment with patients.
Preferable Attributes /Exposure:
1. Completion of Form 3 education or equivalent.
2. Able to adapt to working in mortuary.
3. Relevant working experience.
4. Knowledge of other common office automation (e.g. E-mail, Internet/Intranet etc.) and PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese input method.
