Weekend Admissions Coordinator Needed - Must have Saturday & Sunday availability
Compensation - TBD upon experience
Scheduled Hours - Saturday/Sundays approx. 8:30a-5pm depending on need. Monday shift available.
The Center at Val Vista is a skilled nursing facility that serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. Currently, The Center at Val Vista is looking for a weekend admissions coordinator to join our weekend pool. This fast paced position requires a positive team member who can work well under pressure and is comfortable with multi-tasking.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited too:
- Receive and follow work schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in accordance with established policies and procedures
- attach and document preadmission information/paperwork in the EMR system
- Abide by all HIPPA requirements - Maintain confidentiality.
- insurance authorization
- scanning, faxing, emailing, and other clerical duties as required for the job
