Job Description

The Ambassador position will be directly responsible for the guest's arrival and departure experience in addition to any operational needs as it relates to the specific guest's requests, recommendations and touches including working in the front office, bell and door roles.
Purpose of the Welcome Station (WS)
Greet all Traffic entering La Cantera Resort and Spa (LCR)
Provide information and directions for all as requests
Convey messages and arrivals to Front Desk and various LCR departments
Be aware of irregular occurrences - both at the gate and around the grounds
Be in contact with Loss Prevention regarding questionable activity
Types of Traffic through Welcome Station
Resort guests arriving individually or in buses, charters, Ubers, etc
Visitors of Resort Guests
Daily Guests arriving for meetings, conventions, trade shows, etc
Guests enjoying LCR Golf, the Spa, or Restaurants/Bars
Deliveries to the Resort - Loading Dock, etc
Transportation to Pickup Departing Guests - Ubers, buses, charters
Employees arriving for work
Residents living in LC Community
Site visits by prospective customers/guests for future meetings, weddings, etc
Information Responsibility at Welcome Station
Guests
Employees - encourage entry tags, direct to proper parking area
Deliveries - direct to proper area - Loading Dock, et
Visitors of Guests - evaluate legitimacy and provide direction
Local Transportation - record and direct Ubers, buses, charters
Residents of Vistas Community - provide entry as needed, encourage safety
Make a judgment call on all Vistas residence construction trucks - encourage oversized trucks to use Camp Bullis entry.
Emergency Vehicles - be aware of where to send EMT
