Event Services Crew – Hawaii Convention Center

As an Event Services Crew Member at the Hawai‘i Convention Center, you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for setting up and maintaining meeting spaces that host world-class events, conferences, and special gatherings.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy physical work, take pride in delivering high-quality setups, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Whether you're preparing elegant meeting spaces, refreshing rooms between sessions, or assisting with event logistics, your work will directly contribute to a seamless guest experience.
📅 Available Shifts:
✅ Morning Shift: Monday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
✅ Afternoon/Evening Shift: Monday – Sunday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
✅ Weekend Availability: Friday – Sunday | Open availability preferred
💰 Pay Rate: $17.75/hr
What You’ll Do:
🔹 Set up and arrange meeting rooms per client specifications and venue standards
🔹 Inspect and ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready (floors, chairs, tables, linens, lighting, and staging)
🔹 Perform room resets, tear-downs, and layout adjustments as needed
🔹 Provide and maintain water service for tables, podiums, and coolers
🔹 Transport and arrange event materials, including linens, staging equipment, and furniture
🔹 Support event teams with last-minute adjustments to meet client needs
🔹 Work closely with supervisors and teammates to ensure a seamless event experience
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Adaptability – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
✅ Physical Stamina – Comfortable lifting/carrying 51-100 lbs and moving frequently (standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling)
✅ Team Player – Works well in a collaborative environment under supervision
✅ Attention to Detail – Ensures set-ups meet high-quality standards
✅ Flexible Schedule – Available for shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
