Human Resources Coordinator / Recruiter
AGM’s Human Resources Coordinator/Recruiter plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing the employee-owner experience throughout our organization. This position serves as a key partner in recruitment, onboarding, employee development, performance evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives that help drive AGM’s long-term success and strong workplace culture.
The HR Coordinator/Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process while also supporting a variety of Human Resources programs and administrative functions, including employee records management, HRIS maintenance, wage review coordination, and employee education assistance programs. This role works closely with leadership and department managers during performance and wage review processes, quarterly meetings, and employee recognition initiatives.
In addition, this position helps foster employee engagement by coordinating programs and events with both internal teams and external organizations, including educational partnerships with Pima Community College, wellness fairs, blood drives, and other employee-focused initiatives.

This is not a remote position. All duties are required to be performed on-site at AGM offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer the full-cyclerecruitment process, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, candidate testing, offers of employment, onboarding, and follow-up communications.
- Partner with hiring managers toidentifystaffing needs, develop hiring strategies, and support fair and legally compliant interview practices.
- Recommend qualified candidates for open positionsthrough AGM’s Talent Communityandmaintainrecruitment records and candidate status updatesthroughout the recruitment process.
- Support administration of employee benefit programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Coordinate andfacilitatethe performance evaluation and wage review processesfor all hourly employees. Work closely with AGM’s President/CEO and Managers todetermineemployee wage adjustments and status changes.
- Process andmaintainrecords related to promotions, transfers, schedule changes, demotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Maintain and update job descriptions, HR forms, departmental documents, and work instructionsas needed.
- Administer employee educationassistanceprograms, including reimbursement tracking, billing, recordkeeping, and communication with educational partners such as Pima Community College.
- Assistwith employee engagement and recognition initiatives, including quarterly meetings, Employee of the Year award eligibility tracking, wellnessfairsand related events.
- Maintain employee attendance records andassistwith attendance-related disciplinary documentation and meetings as needed.
- Prepare, organize, andmaintainemployee personnel files and HRIS records for active andterminatedemployees.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
- Maintain satisfactory attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degreerequired, preferably inBusiness Adminiostration or Management, or an HR-adjacentfield.
- One to two years of related HRand/or recruiting experience preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication, in an English-only work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills anda high levelofattention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Human Resources principles, practices, and employmentlaw andprocedures.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and employee support skills.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite, including above-average Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, managers, educational institutions, and outside organizations.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts including percentages, ratios, and statistical information in practical HR applications.
- Ability to work in a quiet, office environment, and sit or stand forlong periodsof time.
Certifications / Licenses
Preference will be given to candidates with SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
AGM’s insurance company requires all drivers to:
- Possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Be at least 19 years of age.
- Havemaintaineda valid U.S. driver’s license for at least 3 years.
- Have no driving violations within the last 6 months.
- Provide a certified copy of their driving record upon request.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency, or status as a U.S. Person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
Please note that this is an on-site role, and remote work arrangements are not available. Candidates must be willing and able to work at our facility during designated working hours.
Work Environment
This position is primarily performed in an office environment but may occasionally require exposure to manufacturing areas with moving mechanical parts, chemicals, or elevated noise levels. Employees are expected to follow all applicable safety procedures and policies. In this position, you may occasionally attend recruitment events or business-related functions that take place in various off-site environments.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
40 hours per week, excluding paid holidays or vacation time; overtime may be available.
