POSITION OVERVIEW
The Contract Packaging Analyst supports contract brewing and packaging operations by coordinating outbound logistics, maintaining inventory accuracy, and serving as a key communication point between Two Roads Brewing and contract customers. This role is responsible for shipping documentation, inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and operational coordination across the warehouse, production, and supply chain teams.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate outbound shipments for contract brewing customers, ensuring accurate product allocation and shipment execution.
- Create and manage Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping documentation, and outbound paperwork.
- Verify shipping accuracy and ensure products are delivered to the correct customer and destination.
- Scan and distribute completed shipping documents to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate shipment schedules, inventory discrepancies, delays, and order changes to customers and internal teams.
- Perform routine cycle counts of finished goods, packaging materials, and brewing raw materials to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and investigate inventory variances.
- Coordinate and ship product samples to customers, vendors, and external partners.
- Support employee beer distribution processes in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brewing, Packaging, Warehouse, QA, and Supply Chain teams to support operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records within ERP and inventory management systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control, shipping accuracy, and supply chain operations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, XLOOKUPs, and working within tables.
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook and standard business communication tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting processes.
- Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver kegs or production materials safely.
- Comfortable working on the production floor, warehouse dock, and shipping areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in brewing, beverage manufacturing, food production, or consumer packaged goods (CPG)
- Experience working within an ERP system, preferably SAP Business One
- Experience coordinating LTL and FTL shipments
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified
- Experience with shipping logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination
Work Environment
- Combination of office, warehouse, and production floor environment.
- Frequent interaction with shipping docks, forklifts, and manufacturing equipment.
- May require occasional flexibility in schedule based on shipping or production demands.
