Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

Cabarrus Health Alliance is seeking a dedicated and professional Spanish-language Interpreter to support patients and clinical staff within our Family Medicine and Women's Health Clinics. This role is essential in ensuring clear communication, high-quality patient care, and efficient clinic operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the provision of care by interpreting from English to Spanish and Spanish to English
  • Interview clients and obtain financial information, medical and personal data
  • Assist department with administrative duties as time allows

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous or current experience interpreting in a professional medical setting. Fluency in English and Spanish required. Must pass Interpreter Assessment pre-hire. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to interpret from Spanish to English and English to Spanish
  • Knowledge of medical terminology in both languages
  • Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures and office assistance techniques
