The role collaborates with other campus departments in providing outreach around equity and inclusive practices. A majority of this position’s caseload will include students on the Multicultural Care Track. The Multicultural Care Track was established to provide effective and timely clinical services to students who have been negatively impacted by racial or other social injustices (e.g., race, gender, nationality, citizenship, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, disability, non-traditional college students, Veteran status, neurodiverse, native students, etc.), who have clinical needs that could be addressed (at least in part) by biweekly sessions within the framework of a semester or an academic year, and who have significant barriers to needed care in the community.
This position collaborates with other campus departments as needed for the treatment of CAPS students and ensures individual experiences, identities, and systemic factors are considered in all assessment, treatment referral, and training services provided.
