About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Toluca GT MFE Manager to join the Enginering - GT Toluca team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Toluca.
 

As the GT MFE Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible Development of technical specifications for the creation of new manufacturing processes. Selection of technology that ensures the quality and precision required for the assembly of the target product.
Participation in the development of overall project timelines, including coordination, involvement, and monitoring of timelines for the implementation and execution of current processes and new projects. Plan and manage current and future budgets based on the business plan (Capex/OPEX) to ensure the launch of new projects and engineering changes. Conduct technical evaluations to support decision-making for new developments and strategic projects (footprint optimization). Promote the quality management system (Marelli IATF) Implement innovative systems in a smart way to achieve plant KPIs and ensure their sustainability.

Your Responsibilities will be:

1 Management of advanced product quality planning related to engineering.
2 Management of the engineering team’s activities in addressing customer complaints.
3 Coordination of the cross-functional team to analyze and establish corrective actions for process defects.
4 Management of internal and customer pilot activities.
5 Management of activities for defining the production process (process conditions and control plan).
6 Promoting team participation in improvement activities (including cycle time reduction, optimization of raw material consumption, line balancing, etc.).
7 Establish, manage, and monitor engineering KPIs.
8 Approval of engineering-related master documents.
9 Management, planning, and monitoring of MMX projects related to engineering.
10 Review of BOMs, physical inventory, the BPCS system, and manufacturing routes.
11 Monitoring of engineering changes.
12 Collaboration in process audits and/or internal audits.
13 Participation in preventing nonconformities in the product, process, and quality system.

14 Manage activities related to defining the production process (process conditions and control plan)
 
15 Promote team participation in improvement activities (including cycle time reduction, optimization of raw material consumption, line balancing, etc.)
 
16 Establish, manage, and monitor engineering KPIs
 
17 Approval of engineering-related master documents.
 
18 Management, planning, and monitoring of MMX projects related to engineering.
 
19 Review of BOMs, physical inventory, the BPCS system, and manufacturing routes.
 
20 Monitoring of engineering changes.

What Qualifications you will bring:

*Degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
*Lenguage: Advanced English
* Technical Skills: Experience in welding processes

Other skills that we would welcome:

1 Auto parts industry. 
2 Similar positions, team supervision and leadership. 
3 Experience in developing and planning standard manufacturing work plans, preventive maintenance, designing and implementing new processes, continuous improvement, and problem analysis and resolution.

4 Experience in welding processeses.
