Job Summary The School of Marketing invites candidates to apply for the in-person, 9-month, Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing position on the Hattiesburg campus beginning August 2026. The position will support our growing Marketing BSBA, Marketing Minor, and our certificates. Candidates with experience in engaged learning, analytics, and online teaching are especially encouraged to apply. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The candidate will be expected to teach three courses per semester (or equivalent) to be determined by the Director of the School. The successful candidate's teaching obligations will support the Marketing BSBA degree, the Marketing minor and certificates. The desired candidate will be willing and able to teach a combination of face-to-face and online core Marketing courses and/or Marketing electives. Faculty are expected to pursue an active research record, high-quality teaching, and contribute service to the mission of the program (below), School, College, and University. Additional responsibilities may include recruitment, and other service activities (such as committee work and other official activities) for the School, College, and University; performs other duties as assigned.
