JOB TITLE: Summer Discovery Learning – Lower Elementary Teacher (K-2)
LOCATION: Madison Early Childhood Center
TRAINING AND SUPPORT: Summer Discovery Learning teachers will be required to attend in-person training. The dates, times, and location have not yet been finalized; however, training will take place during the week of June 15.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
June 22nd – July 24th (No School on July 3rd)
Monday – Friday
8:30am – 12:30pm
May be asked to attend afternoon field trips once a week from 1:00pm-4:00pm.
HOURLY RATE: $50.00
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dedicated Summer Discovery Learning Elementary Teacher to join our team for the upcoming summer program. The successful candidate will design and implement engaging learning activities aimed at enhancing students' educational experiences during the summer break.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: Valid elementary teaching certification, experience in an educational setting.
- Preferred: Experience with summer programs, strong organizational skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that stimulate discovery and exploration.
- Collaborate with peers to ensure a comprehensive and enjoyable program.
- Assess and report on student progress.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
