Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position: Verify and review third party insurance referrals through phone and online resources Review claims paid by Medicaid for filing to a third party insurance carrier Review correspondence to determine the status of the filed claims Make phone calls or use online resources for insurance carriers and providers to determine status of the filed claims Review payments received and verify that they are credited correctly to cases and debts Prepare documents and claims for mail Conducts research to analyze facts, and apply knowledge of the Office of Recovery Services rules, regulations, and policies Ability to interpret, clarify, explain and apply agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal or state laws and regulations
