Job Summary

We are hiring a Release Manager to oversee software release planning, deployment coordination, and production readiness for enterprise applications in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth release cycles while maintaining compliance, quality, and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage application releases across environments.
• Coordinate release activities between development, QA, operations, and business teams.
• Maintain release calendars and deployment documentation.
• Ensure release governance and change management compliance.
• Monitor release quality and production deployment success.
• Support rollback planning and incident management activities.
• Drive automation and release process optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical validation and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Release Management or Deployment Management.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and release governance.
• Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of GxP, CSV, ITIL, and change management processes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira, or similar tools.
• ITIL certification is a plus.
• Fluent English required; German language skills are an advantage.
