Release Train Manager (SAFe Agile)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Release Train Manager (RTM) to coordinate Agile Release Trains and ensure seamless collaboration across multiple teams within pharmaceutical technology programs. The ideal candidate will drive SAFe Agile execution, manage dependencies, and support large-scale enterprise delivery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events and ceremonies.
• Coordinate PI Planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release activities.
• Manage inter-team dependencies and delivery alignment.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Engineering teams.
• Track delivery metrics, KPIs, and release progress.
• Identify and resolve risks and blockers impacting delivery.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.
• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery or Release Train Management.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe, Agile frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Align, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools.
• SAFe Certification (RTE/SAFe Agilist) preferred.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Fluent English required; German language skills preferred.
