Creating and implementing a health and safety strategy in accordance with the applicable legal status and company requirements
Taking action to ensure that legally defined standards in the area of occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection are implemented within the Company.
Podstawowe obowiązki
- Management of the safety status in the Axtone Poland sites (Kanczuga and Stalowa Wola) and control of working conditions and compliance with regulations and procedures in the field of occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection
- Assessment of the circumstances and causes of accidents at work and occupational diseases with the objective to prevent accidents and their possible severity
- Continuous improvement and monitoring of working conditions and compliance with health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection regulations and principles
- Initiating and implementing tasks aimed at continuously improving the safety culture among employee
- Responsibility for Recommending and implementing efficient and functioning safety management systems in Axtone Poland sites, initiating new solutions aimed at continuous improvement of work safety and minimization of occupational risk (after its proper assessment)
- Responsibility for the risk assessment process, individual and collective protection at work stations
- Development of employee awareness regarding safety issues
- Responsibility for preventive, record-keeping and corrective actions resulting from applicable law and internal regulations of the organization
- Conducting safety audits within the company and representing the company during external audits and inspections
- Initiating and coordinating projects to improve emissions’ quality
- Ensuring and organizing the provision of training on ESH topics to all staff
- Management of air pollution emissions, waste management, water and sewage management in the Company
- Authorization to update legal acts/standards in individual organizational units
- Managing the work of a subordinate team in Axtone Poland sites
- Supervision over the documentation and budget of the Occupational Health and Safety Department
- Reviewing assumptions and documentation, support the definition of standards, procedures, installations related to EHS on newly constructed, reconstructed buildings or existing buildings subject of re-modernization of work spaces
- Updating externally supervised documents
- Preparation and presentation of periodic analyses of the state of occupational health and safety, fire safety and environmental protection in the Company
- Reporting in accordance with the applicable structure (Axtone Group and ITT)
Wymagania dotyczące pozycji
At least 5 years of experience in the field of occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection (at least 3 years in team management)
Higher education, postgraduate studies in the field of occupational health and safety
- Certificates confirming completion of courses and periodic training for occupational health and safety services
Knowledge of English at C1 level
Ability to work in the Integrated Management System
International certificates confirming knowledge of the latest trends in occupational health and safety Participation in IOSH industry chambers are welcome
Knowledge of a security management system, e.g. GENSUITE knowledge of management systems, e.g. ISO 18001
