Analyst, Brazil
Eurasia Group is seeking a versatile analyst for the firm’s Brazil practice, to be based in Brasilia. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Brazilian domestic politics and the intersection between government policy and the business environment.
In this role, you will be expected to cultivate a rich network of research contacts in government agencies, ministries and courts to assist the team’s analysis of key trends in Brazil’s politics and main regulatory issues. You will have the ability to analyze specific economic sectors important to the country and pertinent structural reforms.
Our work environment is often fast-paced and very demanding. You must have an entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual rigor, and strong discipline. You must have excellent written skills in English. Candidates who are comfortable presenting before private sector clients will also have an advantage. You will be supporting coordination of research projects and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Professional and/or academic background reflecting strong skills as an analyst will be an advantage, as well as professional background reflecting strong networking skills in political circles. Candidates with in-country experience are strongly preferred. Fluency in Portuguese is required.
Applicants will be considered for the firm’s Brasilia office, and all applicants must be eligible to work in Brazil.
