 OVERVIEW

As a member of the BakerRipley Internship program, you will join a talented, hardworking department dedicated to advancing regional community impact. 

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented HR Intern for a temporary, semester-based role to support our Human Resources team. Located at our central office, this hybrid position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment, providing direct exposure to key corporate processes and strategic projects. You will assist in all Human Resources functions, contributing to initiatives that support employees and new hires across the organization.

Upon completion of this internship, you will have completed successfully:

- Accelerate response and completion times for HR requests.
- Expand the talent pipeline by assisting Talent Acquisition Specialists with onboarding materials to ensure success of a full-cycle recruiting function.
- Streamline HR data workflows by processing service records, I-9 documentation, and employment verifications.
- Participate in administrative spaces for various HR projects that will be visible in all parts of the employment lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with Service Record Management 
- Support I-9 Verification and Compliance 
- Assist the Talent Acquisition Team in assisting with onboarding materials
- Assist with the maintenance of HR files and records 
- Participate in HR Projects and Initiatives 
- Support with HR team with administrative tasks
- Work with teams to coordinate logistics for events as needed
- Provide technical and organizational support on projects
- Other duties as assigned

 

PREFERRED/ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 

Some College ( No Degree ) 

Years of Experience:

Min of one (1) year experience preferred

Computer/Systems/Software/Policy:

Basic Computer Skills- Using email, word processing (e.g, Microsoft Word)

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Interest in learning HR systems and processes
