Job Description
The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
The School Administrative Manager is responsible for the efficient management of school financial and administrative systems, as well as supervision and training of school administration officers. Manages the provision of support for school activities and routines, including student welfare and wellbeing, and works with the school principal, the school executive and teaching staff as required.

Bletchington Public School is one of six public primary schools in Orange, located in the northern area of the town and servicing several significant new housing developments. The school is highly regarded within the local community and provides a wide range of opportunities for students, including band, dance, choir, Schools Spectacular, DaVinci Decathlon, public speaking, debating and a broad range of sporting programs. The school benefits from extensive grounds and play spaces, an adjoining public park and an on-site school hall with before and after school care on site. The school has an enrolment of 516 students, with 19.2% identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 2.6% from non-English speaking backgrounds. Students come from a broad range of socio-economic backgrounds, with the school having a Family Occupation and Education Index (FOEI) of 115. Bletchington Public School is supported by over 60 staff, including teachers, School Learning and Support Officers, and administration and support staff. The school is the base for a Home School Liaison Officer, an Out of Home Care teacher and an Assistant Principal Learning and Support. There are 24 classes, including four support classes. The leadership structure includes a non-teaching Deputy Principal, five on-class Assistant Principals, a Learning and Support Teacher, and 1.4 Assistant Principals Curriculum and Instruction who support high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
