Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, assess, and hire top talent in alignment with the organization’s workforce strategy. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from requisition through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake to offer acceptance and onboarding transition
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define position requirements, competencies, and sourcing strategy
- Develop and post job descriptions across appropriate job boards and platforms
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
- Facilitate structured interviews and assist managers with evaluation and selection decisions
- Lead offer development, salary negotiations, and pre-employment processes
Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
- Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and community partnerships
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles
- Leverage workforce data and recruiting metrics to adjust sourcing strategies
Stakeholder Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on market trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring best practices
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws throughout the hiring process
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding hiring status and recruitment metrics
Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
- Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Promote the organization’s culture, values, and employee value proposition
- Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and industry functions
Onboarding & Process Improvement
- Partner with People and Culture and hiring managers to ensure smooth transition from offer acceptance to onboarding
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) records
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows and candidate experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong interviewing, communication, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance standards
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
