Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting luxury leisure travel partners across key European markets including but not limited to France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland, always with the objective of maximizing revenue and market share for our hotels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-end travel agency owners, directors and travel advisors with particular focus on American Express FH&R, Virtuoso, Signature and Kempinski Club 1897 member agencies
- Proactively generate new business opportunities by identifying emerging markets, high-potential agencies, and UHNW client bookers
- Represent the brand at international trade shows, sales roadshows and client events across Europe to enhance visibility and brand positioning
- Conduct regular sales trips across assigned territories, including face-to-face client meetings, presentations, training sessions, webinars and networking events
- Deliver compelling product presentations and training to travel advisors, ensuring they take away a deep understanding of each property’s unique selling points, experiences available, and generating brand affection
- Collaborate closely with leadership, marketing and PR teams to align campaigns, partnerships, and promotional activities tailored to European audiences
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the luxury segment
- Manage and negotiate preferred partner agreements, rate structures, and exclusive offers to maximize revenue, market share and brand positioning
- Track sales performance, produce regular reports, and ensure achievement of revenue targets, ADR goals, and market share growth within the leisure segment
- Any other reasonable tasks or activities required by the leadership to support commercial growth
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Confident and persuasive. You should be comfortable presenting the brand’s story, selling value, and influencing high-end travel agency owners, directors and advisors
- Highly relationship-focused. Success depends on building trust, staying visible, and maintaining long-term partnerships with our hotel teams, the travel agency community and clients
- Polished and professional. In luxury hospitality, every interaction should feel refined, attentive, and brand-appropriate
- Resilient. You will need to be able handle sometimes challenging targets and slow sales periods without losing momentum
- Motivated and self-driven. This role needs someone proactive who can work independently across a wide territory
- Adaptable. Mainland Europe means different languages, business cultures, and client expectations, so flexibility is essential
- Strong communicator. You will need to speak clearly, write well, and tailor messages for different audiences always reflecting the brand message
- Organized and detail-oriented. Managing visits, reports, on-hand bookings and market priorities requires structure and consistency
- Creativity. You should be able to design tailored sales stories, activations, and partnership ideas that stand out in a crowded luxury market
