Reporting to the Integrated Operations Manager, you will be part of the Mine Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Act as the site owner and facilitator for mining technology systems and digital initiatives;
Develop, execute, and maintain a digital transformation strategy aligned with organizational goals;
Own and maintain the site Technology Roadmap, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic priorities;
Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of mining operational technology projects;
Oversee the selection, deployment, and sustainment of technology systems across site operations;
Ensure effective adoption and long-term performance of digital and technology solutions;
Lead cross-functional teams through technology implementations and process changes;
Provide leadership and hands-on support for mining-related projects and cross-functional initiatives;
Lead training, support, and continuous improvement of the Fleet Management System (FMS);
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support digital transformation efforts;
Engage stakeholders to understand needs and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions;
Provide oversight of Continuous Improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with site priorities and standards;
Monitor execution and sustainment of CI-driven changes, reinforcing integration with technology systems and performance tracking;
Maintain continuity of CI progress by directing priorities, resolving barriers, and ensuring adherence to the site improvement roadmap.
7+ years of proven leadership experience in mining operations, operational technology, or digital transformation roles;
Strong understanding of mining systems (e.g., Fleet Management Systems, dispatch, automation technologies);
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive technology adoption;
Strategic mindset with experience developing and executing roadmaps or transformation initiatives;
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills;
Ability to balance hands-on technical support with leadership responsibilities;
Experience managing change and driving continuous improvement through technology;
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a dynamic operational environment.
Your Work Schedule:
Schedule: 4/3 schedule at Detour Lake Mine, open to discussion for alternative schedule;
Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
Compensation Statement
No pay range is disclosed, as the compensation range exceeds $200,000.00.
