Plumber/ General Maintenance (261 day)

The Mercer Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for a plumbing position. This position will be filled at the Plumber I (apprentice/helper) or Plumber II (journeyman) level based on the selected applicant's qualifications in accordance with West Virginia Code.

Classification & Pay

• Plumber I (Apprentice/Helper)
  • Classification: Per WV Code
  • Pay Grade: E (per West Virginia Code §18A-4-8a)
• Plumber II (Journeyman)
  • Classification: Per WV Code
  • Pay Grade: G (per West Virginia Code §18A-4-8a)

Final classification will be determined based on the qualifications of the selected applicant with the intent to hire a fully licensed plumber.
