- Data & Process Modelling: Design and document structured data models, system process flows, and business logic diagrams (e.g., using UML or BPMN) to ensure data repositories and reference tables are optimally structured for high-performance analytical queries and automated pipeline consumption.
- Data Pipeline & System Optimisation: Formulate specifications for, and oversee the optimisation of, robust data pipelines that collect, ingest, and process high-volume historical data and market trends, ensuring underlying system reliability for predictive models.
- Software & Model Deployment Support: Work closely with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models, statistical tools, and automated validation frameworks within a production systems environment.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in the creation, execution, and monitoring of system test plans to validate that newly deployed software updates and predictive tools accurately meet functional specifications.
- Stakeholder Communication & Change Management: Effectively communicate technical system adjustments, data architecture changes, and performance KPIs (such as forecast system accuracy) to both technical and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system-driven process improvements, automation, and technological innovations within the demand planning ICT function.
- Other technology-related duties as assigned.
