
Taproom Crew Lead - Seasonal
Job Description
Our Seasonal Taproom Crew Leads are responsible for leading Crew Members, engaging in and executing beer and merchandise sales while creating and delivering an amazing fan experience. We trust our Crew Leads to handle all fan questions and concerns and seek solutions that guarantee meeting our service standards. Success as a Taproom Crew Lead involves staying updated on industry standards, maintaining the taproom's visual appeal, and showcasing its beer offerings. The Seasonal Taproom Crew Lead joins the team for six months or less on a seasonal basis during a predefined time period based on the seasonal nature of the business, hours vary depending upon workload demand and other business needs.
Our Summer season run from May - August.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional fan service to all stakeholders in every interaction.
- Manage opening and closing procedures for the Taproom, including register maintenance and securing the premises.
- Lead the team under management guidance, delegating tasks and coaching on duties, projects, and sales.
- Act as a representative of management, addressing inquiries and concerns from Team Members, fans, and vendors.
- Serve beer, brewed cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks according to company standards.
- Execute opening and closing duties as per company training.
- Handle deposits and reservations for beer purchases.
- Organize and conduct brewery tours, including public speaking engagements.
- Maintain visual standards by stocking merchandise and beer inventory appropriately.
- Ensure Taproom cleanliness and sanitation, including general cleaning and sanitizing, while adhering to health and safety regulations.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of related experience and/or training, preferably in a beverage or retail environment. Must have cash handling experience, preferably with a POS system.
- POS system experience is strongly preferred.
- Must possess effective public speaking skills.
- Cicerone Certified Beer Server or higher preferred.
