Pay Grade: 810 (Min $237.81 per hr)

Primary Purpose:
- Support the Kitchen Equipment Manager with operations, work order flow, and asset management for district kitchen equipment. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum two years of experience in facility management, customer relations, and clerical experience (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Analyze and compare reports for accuracy using various data sources
- Experience with record keeping and inventory control
- Ability to maintain documentation and prepare required written reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with all individuals in a courteous and positive manner
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist the Kitchen Equipment Manager in scheduling work activities and identifying equipment, parts, and supply needs
- Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials
- Coordinate the installation, relocation, and removal of kitchen equipment
- Audit and finalize the lifecycle of work orders within the maintenance management system
- Monitor equipment warranty and guarantee terms to prevent unnecessary repair costs or charges
- Ensure work orders, material requisitions, purchase orders, and related documentation are completed accurately to align with district and federal purchasing requirements
- Manage mandated reporting for all kitchen equipment inspections
- Communicate effectively with district personnel throughout all phases of work orders and projects
- Work closely with service vendors and schedule repairs and preventative maintenance
- Follow and enforce all safety rules and procedures
- Demonstrate professional, ethical, and responsible behavior
- Attend and actively participate in meetings as scheduled by the Food Service Director or designee
- Support departmental administrative functions, including budgeting, purchasing, and planning related to operational and strategic initiatives
- Attend professional development training and maintain continuing education requirements
- Follow all Plano ISD, regulations, policies, and administrative directives
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration and/or supervisor
Equipment Used:
- Operate and utilize a variety of computer hardware and software systems, printers, and copiers
