Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Validation Engineer to ensure the highest quality of audio performance across our hardware and software products. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, analyzing, and validating audio systems, with a particular focus on AI assistant integrations. You will work extensively in controlled acoustic environments to guarantee our devices deliver crystal-clear sound and reliable voice recognition capabilities.

 Requires a B.S. in Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of audio system testing experience

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and execute comprehensive audio validation test plans for hardware devices and AI assistant integrations.

• Set up and operate anechoic chambers to conduct precise acoustic measurements.

• Utilize industry-standard tools such as HEAD acoustics software and SoundCheck to evaluate audio performance.

• Test and validate various audio codecs to ensure optimal sound quality and minimal latency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot audio anomalies and optimize voice assistant responsiveness.

• Document test results, generate detailed performance reports, and provide actionable recommendations for product improvement.

Required Knowledge & Qualifications: 

• Deep familiarity with audio codecs and digital audio processing.

• Hands-on experience working in and managing anechoic chambers.

• Proficiency in using HEAD acoustics software and SoundCheck for audio measurement and analysis.

• Proven knowledge and experience in AI assistant audio validation and voice recognition testing.

• Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to acoustic troubleshooting.
