We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and hands-on Marketing and Communications Lead (Insurance or Brokine Experience for Central America and the Caribbean) to drive sales and growth, elevate our brand and positioning, and foster collaboration across our diverse markets. You will be responsible for setting the Marketing and Communications strategy across Central America and the Caribbean.
Based in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), this hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week in the office.
What can you expect?
As a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, you will develop a marketing & communications strategy for Marsh, with disciplined execution, balancing priorities with operational excellence and agility. Collaborating closely with business leaders and global Centers of Excellence, you will deliver impactful, measurable campaign actions that generate demand, nurture existing client relationships, elevate our voice in the market, expand market share and support revenue growth. Your role will encompass both direct and indirect leadership, ensuring alignment and high performance across functions.
We will count on you to:
- Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team; set clear objectives and manage day-to-day performance.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing, internal, and external marketing and communication strategies that support regional growth, brand positioning, and client engagement, aligned with global and local priorities.
- Work and partner effectively with global Centers of Excellence (CoE) in areas such as Internal Communications, Digital Marketing, Brand, Events, Creative Services, Media Relations, and Practice Marketing.
- Drive close alignment between marketing and sales teams, partnering on product and sales strategies to maximize commercial impact and revenue growth.
- Oversee multi-product, multi-service, and multi-channel marketing efforts, including consulting and insurance lines.
- Manage reputation and client-first approaches in all communications activities, including public relations and brand positioning strategies developed in collaboration with PR.
- Foster collaboration across sales, leadership, and subject matter experts, building consensus and aligning priorities among diverse stakeholders.
- Cultivate a high-performing, innovative team culture including adopting AI best practice.
- Manage budgets, optimize operational workflows, and assess processes to ensure efficiency and impact.
- Navigate complex organizational structures with strong interpersonal communication skills.
What you need to have:
- 10+ years of progressive marketing and sales leadership experience in B2B, complex organizations, or rapidly growing enterprises, preferably with experience in companies similar to Marsh.
- Proven leadership managing both direct and indirect reports.
- Experience leading or closely partnering with sales on marketing and product strategies.
- Strong public relations and brand positioning experience, with the ability to define and execute strategic positioning.
- Ability to manage multiple products, services, and channels, including consulting and insurance lines.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating with senior leadership.
- Results-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about driving client value and growth.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced marketing or business qualifications preferred
