This role reports directly to Indirect Procurement Manager. As the Indirect Buyer, you will be responsible for tracking purchase orders for materials, spare parts, and equipment for the Indirect Group. You will provide support to ensure that all purchasing activities are aligned with policies and procedures. This includes initiating purchase orders based on purchase requisitions and aligning with category managers for specific markets.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for the PR/PO conversion process in SAP according to the supplier selection process.
Point of contact for tracking/escalating purchase orders.
Ensure/quote the continuous supply of necessary goods and materials and communicate any supply issues that could pose a risk or impact on business operations.
Deliver summaries, updates, and reports as needed.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 1 year of experience in indirect purchasing, MRO, or a similar position.
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations (desirable).
Experience with ERP systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience in purchase order tracking and supplier management.
Advanced level of English (conversational).
